For our next Bandcamp Friday release, we head towards the dancefloor with two slices of colourful, lush, progressive house music from Sydney-based Bruno Dante.

Bruno Dante (real name Bryn Tilly) began making original, experimental music in the mid-80s, influenced by the era's tapestry of new wave, funk and disco.

Working as a DJ throughout the 90s shelved some of those ideas before a creative period with his brother Miles saw a slew of self-released albums and EPs - the last of which came out in 2014.

The recent pandemic and its multiple lockdowns lit the creative spark once again for Bryn, and like many others, he's used that time to become more prolific and focused on his solo production.

Fouetté & Derrière feel gracefully devoid of following trends. Both tracks use house music as a base to explore Bryn's wider tastes in music. Timeless, ripe with creativity and deeply emotional - this is music which crosses boundaries with ease.
